Has "How Deep the Father's Love" been translated into Spanish yet? If so, where can I find it? I am a missionary in Chile and fell in love with the song when someone sent me an album last Christmas.

Hi Diane

To find our if there are translations of any of my songs, it's best to contact the publishers, Thankyou Music. Try Mo Tizzard at mtizzard@kingsway.co.uk

Stuart

Went to Streatham last night, Thanks, Stuart, for a great evening of music ,worship ,and blessing

Hi Stuart!
I think that you have written a awesome lot of good songs with a strong theology... It's so good to see Jesus and his cross through your songs! Would you appreciate it if some of your songs has been translated to danish? I really would like to work with it.
My name is Lars Frederiksen, and I am employed as a music ministrer in Dansih Lutheran Mission.
Yours faithfully.

Dear Stuart, we sang the song "How long" during the funeral service of our son, who died 18 days after he was born. The song means a lot to my husband and me, and to many of the people who were present during the service. Could you please tell us the story behind the song? Thank you very much.

Hi Stuart,

It's Martin from Halifax.

I've been playing a lot of your music lately. Your music appeals to my friends & family.
I put a few C.D's on, at the events we've had at our farm. I get a sense of unity, & peace, & hymns like "love incarnate", are easy to listen to. Your music has a nice balance, which I think is good for the church, & helps bring people together. I look forward to buying your new one. Hope to see you at Halifax sometime.
I saw phil, the other night, & I was saying, how I thought your style of worship, is a good way to go, & comes back to the truth of the cross.

Bye for now,

Martin,

Wainstalls,
Halifax.

Just wanted to say that I appreciate you writing that song. As I spend time with the Lord, it has just been countless times that your song has led me into a deeper intimate worship of God. Thank you for being used by Him and I pray that the words of your songs may continue touching people as they seek to adore their King.

Dear Mr. Townend, Recently one of my worship team presented me with your song "How Deep the Father's Love for Us". My team has worked on it and prepared it for Easter Sunday. However, to my delight, the Holy Spirit will wake me in the early morning hours, singing that song to me. I am very grateful that you gave life to this song that God gave you. I know 2 of your songs, (maybe more not realizing they are yours), and both truly have the finger prints of God on them. You are without a doubt, a minister of His Love to this world. Thank you! From Pastor Connie of Moorhead, Minnesota USA

Dear Stuart
Please can you advise where I can buy CD's of your music
We sing it all the time at church - would like CD to sing along to in my car as I travel a lot for work
Thankx

Hi Patricia

If you click on the "Stuart's albums" section of the website, you'll be able to order songs by credit card on PayPal (you don't need to be PayPal member to do this).

Hope that helps

Stuart

Hello Stuart,
We watched 'Songs of Praise' in Australia on June 10th 2007 (episode on hope)which would probably have been broadcast much earlier in UK. We greatly appreciated your rendering of "The Lord's my Shepherd". We'd like to buy a recording with exactly the same group accompanying you - one girl singing, whose name we don't know, a drummer and a keyboard. Please can you let us know how to do this and who the other singer was?
Many thanks,
Mary

Stuart,

I am sure you know really that it is not because your mum had a very high phone bill that "How Deep the Father's Love for Us" appeared on the "Songs of Praise" top 10 favourites list :-)

Thank you so much for the contribution you are making to worship amongst God's people today. I grew up in the 50's and 60's loving many, many of the old hymns which set forth in an "easy to remember" way so many precious Biblical truths. In the 70's I enjoyed the scripture verses set to music which became so popular. Since then there have been some lovely pieces of music composed but the "worship songs" written to them contain just one or two tiny fragments of truth which are then repeated almost ad nauseum, sad to say. I have so rejoiced to discover the modern hymns which you, Keith Getty and Graham Kendrick are writing. They are hymns in the true sense rather than songs or choruses since they seek to more fully portray the fullness of Biblical truth about the theme. I also appreciate so much that your hymns [at least the ones I have encountered] are not "me centred" as are so many of the so-called worship songs today. I rejoice that I can be reminded as I sing that it is "all about HIM" not all about "me".

"How Deep the Father's Love for Us" has been a special blessing and I often sing it as I work around the house, just as I do my old favourites from tens and hundreds of years ago.

Thank you, younger brother, for being the Lord's channel of blessing to His Church in this way. May God bless you as you continue to minister and may He keep you a humble "channel only" and "clay vessel".

God bless you,
Lynette

P.S. I forgot to mention that "In Christ Alone" is another of your hymns which is a great blessing to me as a vehicle for singing my faith. My mum just went to be with the Lord on July 3rd. If she had not already planned the hymns to be used at her memorisl service, I was going to ask that "In Christ Alone" be sung to express her faith.

Lynette

My wife is writing a book and would like to use the words of "How Deep the Father's Love for Us" with credit. What does she need to do?

I saw you and Phatfish at Keswick today. I normally don't like Mum's stuff but WOW you guys put on a good show! There's definitely a house track in 'For every child', upbeat and funky - great stuff.

Hi Stuart,

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to perform with you at New Horizon, it was great to be involved in such fine music-making! Very best wishes for the autumn tour.

Rhoda

Would you please recommend music only CD's of 'In Christ alone,' and 'With a prayer,' suitable for leading congregational worsip, henry

Hi Stuart

I'm Richard, one of Jonnys mates (jonny ur nephew, phils son!)

We were doing some of your songs recently at Church and it only just clicked that they were yours!

We did In Christ Alone, which is an amazing song, and All My Days.

I think it is really nice to do some of your songs in your dad's old church in Sowerby Bridge.

Your songs are awesome, even if my vicar says you use some odd timing!

God Bless

Richard Gill.

Stuart,
I'd like to hear the story behind "How Long?" I'm introducing it this Sunday for Int'l Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. I appreciate the gap the song is filling in modern worship, and wish we had more like it. Like my pastor says, Complaining behind God's back is blasphemy, complaining to him is worship (just look at the Psalms).

Thanks!
West

Hi Stuart,
I know the dates for "Coming to a Church near you" have now passed, but I wanted to say I've just been to "Mission Worship" in Eastbourne and was so inspired to hear you and the rest of the worship team (especially Dennis Holt, as a drummer myself, a bad one mind you, he really inspired me) and I'm very excited by what God has planned for our nation.

I sat in on your seminar "Poetry in the Old Testament" but couldn't write quickly enough, (not very good for an aspiring song writer I know) but do you have notes you can send? However found it very interesting, Thank you.

Can you tell me if you are going to be doing anything like "Coming to a Church near you" again, as I'd very much love to invite you here to "Christ the King" church in Milton Keynes. Obviously there are lots of details to sort out first but essentially I think it would be amazing assuming we can meet your criteria.

Many thanks and may God bless you abundantly,

Colin.

I was a member of New Frontiers for two years and got to know all the songs. However, when I left (God calling me to other things...) and went to the church I'm going to now. I still hear those songs. My paster says he's never heard of New Frontiers but we sing so much of the music. It makes me smile. :)

Stuart--below is an e-mail I just sent to service at kingswayworship.com. As you guide American customers to use Kingsway, I thought you should know of the lack of success I am having doing so.

To whom it may concern:

I placed an order last week for the Best of Stuart Townsend. While I did get a Paypal confirmation I never got an e-mail confirmation of the order nor was I able to print any sort of confirmation during the order process. This being the case, I e-mailed the contact that Paypal gave which was kristen@kingswaydirectstore.com for confirmation. This morning I received two e-mails--one that my e-mail to Kristen was being returned as undeliverable and another from Paypal that my order was unclaimed with them at your end. Can someone please get back to me to let me know what is going on? I have never had this happen before with an order and this is supposed to be a Christmas present. Are you a legitimate source for Stuart Townsend products or not? Please advise. Thank you

Hi Jeanne

So sorry to hear you're having a problem with a US. order. I will chase up the distributor to see what's happened.

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

I just wanted to say how pleasantly surprised I was to see you at Parkside Church in Cleveland, OH a couple months back! I always love when the Gettys are present, and it was an extra special blessing to have you there as well. I remarked to my husband later on how I enjoyed not only your renderings of your songs, but your passionate worship of our God. You lead others to worship through your example.

Thank you for your ministry! You have a good number of fans in Northeastern Ohio, US.

Kristy
